Oral Pathology
The oral cavity and facial structures can develop anomalies ranging from simple lesions, to tumours, cysts and unfortunately, cancer. Frequently, these areas can be treated. As part of that process, a biopsy is usually performed. Specimens are examined by an Oral Pathologist who provides a report to us a few weeks after surgery and then a plan is developed for you. The procedure can be carried out using all anaesthesic options.
